These terms apply when you order from Marrakech Vegan Breakfast — breakfast delivery, a cooking class, our jarred products, or our digital recipe book. Please read them before you book. By placing an order you accept them.

Who we are

Marrakech Vegan Breakfast prepares and delivers homemade Moroccan vegan breakfast in Marrakech, Morocco, runs vegan Moroccan cooking classes, and sells vegan Moroccan products and a digital recipe book.

Breakfast delivery orders

• Orders are placed through the booking form on this website or by WhatsApp, and are only confirmed once we reply to confirm them. An unanswered form submission is not a confirmed order.
• Please order at least one day in advance. Everything is cooked after your order is confirmed, which is why we need the notice.
• Delivery slots run from 08:30 to 16:00, every day.
• The delivery fee inside Marrakech is 25 MAD, charged on top of your order.
• You must give us an address we can reach, the name of your riad, hotel, Airbnb or apartment, and a phone number that works on the morning of delivery. If we cannot reach you or the address is wrong, we may not be able to deliver, and the order may still be payable.
• We deliver in Marrakech, including the Medina, Kasbah, Gueliz and Hivernage. If you are staying elsewhere, ask us first and we will tell you honestly whether we can reach you.

Cooking classes

• The vegan Moroccan cooking class costs 390 MAD per person and normally starts at 10:30.
• Classes must be booked in advance and are confirmed by us in writing on WhatsApp or by email.
• Please arrive on time. If you arrive late we will do our best to include you, but we cannot extend the class.

Products and orders from our shop

• Our jarred products are sold in Moroccan dirham (MAD) and are shipped inside Morocco only, for a flat 50 MAD shipping fee.
• Payment for shop orders is cash on delivery.
• Our digital recipe book is sold in US dollars through our Ko-fi shop, which handles payment and delivers the file to you. Ko-fi’s own terms apply to that transaction.
• We describe our products as accurately as we can. Jar contents may settle or separate naturally; that is normal for almond and argan butter and is not a defect.

Prices and payment

• Prices on this website are in Moroccan dirham (MAD) unless stated otherwise, and may change. The price we confirm with you is the price you pay.
• We do not accept card payments for breakfast, cooking classes or shop orders. Payment is cash on delivery. For breakfast we can accept cash in MAD, Euro, GBP or US Dollar; change is given in MAD.
• The digital recipe book is paid online, in US dollars, through Ko-fi.

Food, allergies and dietary needs

• All our food is vegan: no meat, fish, eggs, dairy or honey.
• Our food contains, and is prepared in a kitchen that handles, nuts (including almonds), sesame and gluten. We cannot guarantee that any dish is free from traces of these.
• If you have an allergy or intolerance, tell us before you order so we can advise you honestly. If we cannot serve you safely, we will say so.
• Fresh food should be eaten on the day of delivery and kept cool until then.

If something goes wrong

Contact us the same day on WhatsApp or by email, with your order details and a photo if it concerns the food or a jar. We would rather fix a problem quickly than argue about it.

Things outside our control

We may have to delay or cancel an order because of something outside our control — severe weather, strikes, road closures, blocked access in the Medina, illness, or a supplier failure. If that happens we will tell you as soon as we can and you will not be charged for an order we could not deliver.

Your use of this website

• The text, photographs, recipes and the digital recipe book on this website belong to Marrakech Vegan Breakfast. Please do not copy, resell or redistribute them without our permission.
• Do not misuse this website, attempt to break into it, or submit false booking details.

Liability

We take care over how we buy, prepare, pack and deliver our food, and we accept responsibility where the law places it on us. We are not responsible for losses caused by information you gave us incorrectly, by your failing to tell us about an allergy, or by food that was not stored properly after delivery. Nothing in these terms limits any right you have that cannot be limited under Moroccan law.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the law of the Kingdom of Morocco, and disputes are for the competent courts of Marrakech.

Changes to these terms

We may update these terms. The version published here when you order is the one that applies to your order.
